Using Flat Rubber Stamps

1.  Lay stamp flat on a paper towel.

2.  Add a small amount of paint to flat palette.

3.  Dip dry sponge-on-a-stick in paint, pat off excess on palette.

4.  Lightly dab sponge against raised design only of stamp.

5.  Apply stamp to piece gently.  Lightly press each portion of the stamp to piece to assure full coverage.  Do not press too firmly.

6.  Lift stamp straight up to remove.

7.  If only looking to use a “piece” of the stamp, add base coat to only that area before stamping.

8.  When base coat is dry, paint in desired color.
